Thank you all for the

wonderful Saturday! Loved every single bit of it.. The food(of cos), the bacardi(hic), the merry christmas-handshake dares(which, i tell you, lit up the entire christmas of the last 3 ladies, hahaha), even the acquiring of the sparklers(piece of cake). Thing i appreciated most though, was the company =)

=) =) =)

Thanks everyone, for being there.
Thanks miss pang, for making me feel like i've had 2 birthdays this year ^^

Leaving for a 2-year holiday on a nice tropical island located at the equater(aren't you jealous) next Thursday... And after all the hype of christmas , well, it's time to reflect! What better time to say this than now?

I like the people around me. I've really enjoyed all your company, and i appreciate you all in ways more than i would have ever expressed. These 2 years have been really funwith you all around.. and thinking of all the things i've done, man I sure as hell wish school could have lasted a little longer than this.

Awwww....

Apart from the ThankYou speech i STILL think i should have made in the middle of citylink mall rather than just at the side.. I'd like to say i'll never, ever forget any of you and what you've done for me, and i'll be there for you always, and always. =)

And this applies to ALL my friends. All. =)

The Beach, Harry Potter, and Jonah Bobo

Woke up today VERY late, cos i had slept very late last night. Slept late last night because i had missed the last train home and thus had reached home late. I had reached home late cos earlier on i had left the house late. I had left the house late because i had woken up late. I woken up late cos i had slept late. I had slept late because.. well.. you get the idea.

As i sat down for my breakfast/lunch i exchanged a couple of smses with brady and alroy.
with Brady:
Brady: blah blah blah...
Me: blah blah blah.. Eh, wanna go to the beach?
Brady: ...TO DO WAD???
Me: Hahaha.. Beachy stuff lahz, swim, slack, relax. OH can play sand somemore =)
-pause-
Brady: Anything.. blah blah blah... Bring guitar...

with Alroy:
I can't remember. Something to do with colouring our hair. Lolz.

And so, we left for the beach. Took the usual train to harbourfront and bus to siloso beach, where we sat on the sand and played guitar.. We played stuff like Jay Chou's 黑色毛衣 (Black Overcoat), which the pro shit brady figured out on the spot by just listening to the mp3, and 浪漫手机 (the name of my T630 =D) (also figured out by brady). Then we got bored.. and brady suggested we challenge the 2 kids in the beach soccer court next to us to a 2v2 and i said OK so we went and played with them.. Signs of our Victory (duh) were eminent when those 2 started squabbling even before the game started, hahaha.. Half way through the game a foreigner and his hunky friend joined to make it 3v3... We got the full-pint-beer-bellied foreigner while they got the hunky friend, but still.. They weren't a match. Heeeee. ^^

Next we went down to orchard to watch Zathura. It's like another Jumanji, but this time it incorporates yes, Family Values.. It's about a typical big brother lording over his younger (CUTE) brother but the little one never minding it, still always approaching his older brother to play, how they stumbled upon the game, how they saw themselves (literally), how their little relationship was shaped throughout the course of the game.. Heartwarming really; the older brother turned out to be much nicer than we all thought.. Cute even. However, his cuteness CANNOT beat Jonah Bobo. Who's Jonah Bobo? He's the (CUTE) little brother in Zathura.. And omg omg omg... HE IS DAMN CUTE LAAAAAAA... He exudes all the small-boy charm you could ever imagine.. The innocence, the bright, sparky, chubby look, the way he walks, talks, yells '' I KILLED LISA!!!'' AWWwwwww... Man, HE IS SOOO CUTE. Seriously. Go watch Zathura. Story's not bad, can bring you lots of laughs, and FULL marks for the cute factor.

Everyone watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire yet? I watched it twice.. And around me (mine included) reactions were the same- too rushed, jumpy sequences, Hogwarts not as nice as before, generally something missing- the magic you feel from reading the book, it just isn't there, is it? Thus, i (and brady concurs) have come up with a few pointers on how to improve the movie. Sigh. That directing fellow really should have consulted me first, ya?

Number 1: Capture every scene, you cheapskates.. When they showed the Weasleys and Potter and Granger in the little tent-house after the Quidditch match was supposed to have ended - i didn't even know the match WAS supposed to have ended. -.- After all the glam opening in the beginning of the match, it's suddenly over without a trace. Also, know the part where Harry Potter was preparing for the first task - the dragons? In the book Hermione had to actually teach and practice with Harry how to accio, Firebolt! right? It's a minor detail, but one of the cosy, friendship-building, homely(they swung cushions about in the room in the castle) parts in the book which actually lets us feel for the book the way we do... Instead all we see is a Mad, One-eyed, Moody (pun intended) fellow sneering ''You are allowed a WAND HARRY''. And that's why the movie isn't satisfying. They wanted to keep to the conventional less-than-3hr time limit, and in doing so missed out on the many parts which make the story whole. And nice. And complete. So the movie becomes like, summary? This is Riddikulus! Why not make a 10-hour movie capturing every single detail? People will love you for that ^^.

Number 2: Give Dumbledore a makeover. Isn't he portrayed in the book as a nice, wise, fatherly old gentleman? In the show he displayed signs of aggressiveness, like grabbing Harry and shaking him and saying "DID YOU OR DID YOU NOT PUT YOUR NAME INTO THE GOBLET OF FIRE HARRY". As far as i recall, he hasn't been so beligerent in the book. I've always had the impression that he never showed an angry face, never lost his temper.. Isn't it a bit wierd to suddenly give him such characteristics. Also, he somehow doesn't strike me as the powerful, impressive, authoritative figure in the magic world he's supposed to be, as much as in the book.. Suggested improvements: Make Professor Dumbledore more powerful.. Let us see more of him, his leadership, his authority, his kindness. Oh, and remove his aggressiveness. It ain't good for his image.

Number 3: Give Emma Watson more screen time. ^^ We all watch Harry Potter not only for the story, we want to see how the characters evolve over time too! Especially now that the actors are older, it's more interesting to see how they adapt and pull off roles of different age differences, correct not? Harry Potter - we see him like ALL the time. Ron Weasley - never mind. But Hermione... Really not enough, lahz. No focus on her except during the ball and in the champion's tent before the dragon fight loh!! How can.. After all, giving eye candy a bit more screen time wouldn't hurt! =) Hahahahaa.. And right, by doing so and showing support to promising up-and-coming new actresses(and actors of cos), they'll make more movies, and make more money. Got more money, cinema ticket prices can go down. DVD prices can go down also. Then go down until cheaper than pirated DVD and VCDs, then no one will buy pirated stuff anymore -- see, fighting piracy!!

Number 4: Change the actress of Cho Chang. Hebe should act as Cho Chang! The present one looks not bad in the movie.. But my Candidate should be much, much better! =D After all, both got black hair, both got chinese look, just that one more chio. Had Hebe been casted right, she would be called Chio Chang already, not Cho Chang. Then not only Harry Potter would want to go to the ball with her.. Viktor Krum, Cedric, Ron Weasley, even the band conductor also will call her go lahz. Hahahahaha!

With these 4 improvements... Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will capsize Titanic i tell you. Assuming it still is the no.1 movie.

Ok.. i know you're itching to click on the little red box on the top right corner of your screen already. -) Brady refused to carry on talking to me after i brought up points 3 and 4, hahahaaha.

But eh, i DO have a point right? XD

Animal activist Bo Derek was horrified to learn that the Queen of England wears antique sable coats. She decided to confront the Queen over the issue, and arranged to get herself invited to an event which the Queen was also due to attend.

So a couple of months later, there they were at a very high class tea party. Rich people everywhere. Bo started looking around for the Queen. Sure enough, there she was. It was time for the confrontation! She marched up to the Queen, and demanded an answer.

Elizabeth responded haughtily: "Some wear old fur to reign, Bo."

Common Test 2

It was a dark, stormy night.

After happily playing gunbound with brady for like 3 hours (yeah we owned =)) i have been very merrily struck with the buoyant newfound realisation that the joyful Maths paper we'll be taking in like 2 weeks consists of the following hearty topics:

- from Miss Pang's consolidated data:

Mathematics ( I really think they hate us)
-Inequalities
-Partial fractions and binomial theorem
-AP/GP
-Trigonometry
-Then they came up with some 3D trigo thingy...those mathematicians are really free
-Vectors
-Integration
-Numerical methods
-Permutation and combination
-Probability
-The not-too-obvious-hence-Discreet Random Variables
-Binomial Distribution
-Poisson distribution…

I told you they hate us…

Yup, they do hate us.
In view that it could be possibly my fault that i hadn't checked out the topics properly, i shall be lighthearted, mirthful and graceful about it. Just laugh it off..

WAS I THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT THE TOPICS COVERED STARTED FROM INTEGRATION ONWARDS???

Bless the poor souls who have been joyously ambling through the first half of this sparkling jubilant june break carrying the misconception that out dear jolly Maths department could have been a tad kinder.

Gay. Trigo will kill me.

Nevertheless, in the tone of reason i have found that it is actually beneficial to us for them to have included the easier like those before Integration (save trigo). Ya? Hahaha.. Prolly so. Bring on the Inequalities. Gimme a 20 mark inequality question.

I thank the powers above the same scare has not occurred to me regarding bio chem and phy.. I'd scream.

Oh, there was this fine day, when i dreamt that it was the day of the bio paper.. and i had not studied..

I woke up frozen.. like your ant in a freezer.

The HOLIDAYS Are Here!!! Woohoo!! Yay!!

可爱女人

Actually, maybe not..

It's nice that june is finally here.. It's like..a refreshing breeze in a desert. Cold water on a hot day. Warm water on a cold night. Something like that.. So, like any other child 7 years up in Singapore, i welcomed the holidays. A grand total of 4 weeks without boring lectures, insufferable tutorials and those dreadful pracs - HEAVENLY.

想要有直升机 想要和你飞到宇宙去

However, this hols ah, a bit different leh.

The very things on our very minds that makes this holiday lose it's magic and splendour - A levels, prelims, and primarily CT2. They're like adhered somewhere at the back of my head and creating a sense of urgency and no matter what i do it seems to be there.. Like some barrier preventing me from throwing myself into enjoying this holiday. And its NOT FUN lahz.. What kind of holiday is a holiday if you can't enjoy the holiday? Got work to doo!! Important wan somemore.

想要和你融化在一起 融化在银河里

Eeew.

On another note another reason i'm apprehensive about this june is cos it came so fast.. Zip and it's here. It's scary lahz.. I've always heard j2 life will be very short, but i didn't expected it to be so damn short. Wth.. Week 7 seemed just like yesterday. I still recall walking down the little path downstairs in primary 3 thinking...Streaming is still so far away! Don't care first! ^^ Right. *Snap* and it's all over.. I expect june to be the same?

Shoo time shoo.. Go away.

感谢地心引力 让我碰到你

I don't want time to pass so fast lahz..er no. i WANT time to pass fast. Studies's among one of them. More time = more work done. Or more time to do that same amt of work and slack around too =P But the other reason is, ironically, school. To tell the truth i don't want school to be over so fast.. It's one of the excuses i get to use to see my friends. It's only cos of school, that u get to see your people on a daily basis. To talk cock, to play basketball, soccer, piano, to go Coro and eat, to go S11, to buy bubble tea, to watch movie, to play badminton, to pon lecture, to go bugis eat, blahblahblah, etcetera. Hahaha.

漂亮的让我面红的可爱女人

They say with a smile, "Nvm lah, we can still meet up! =) " but yeah right, i know it and i know you know it too, it just will not be the same. We wouldn't be in a LT, wouldn't be in uniform(not that uniform very nice..haha..but memories, lahz), wouldn't be free to share the nonsense and spend time together like we do now. So sad right.

The GP paper was okay.. Usual stuff lahz, just filling in all the bull you can come out with in 1 1/2 hours. No surprise they call that book the GPBull too.

Thanks a lot to those who came down for the guitar concert. Appreciate it lots =) Hope u all had a good time.. I did! ^^ Songs nice right, this time... Hahaha.

WE GOT GOLD!
WOOHOOOO!!

Yeah that's it. RJC Guitar Enssemble's first ever gold medal(so i've been told). We made it babies! Didn't let anyone who had faith in us down, so there. =) We've made history, lalala, history! Hahaha..

That was one magical moment, a fabulous afternoon.. Here's how it works. You wait with your guitar with your friends in a series of locations in the Singapore Conference Hall, slowly moving up to the tuning room where you tune for the last time and do some last min runs, then move, move, move till you reach the backstage and await the time when you step onstage. And from that moment onwards every single movement, every single sound is observed and noted for the next 10 min till the 2 songs are over. You walk, chest up, shoulders broad, in a well-rehearsed progression to your seat on stage. Beyond the stage is a blur, you don't have the consciousness to notice much, but you know that there're like 200+ pairs of eyes staring at you, most importantly the 5-6 pairs in the centre holding the scoresheets. You can't really think of anything; your heart is pounding as you stand at your seat (just a nice lil chair). This is when you look up, look around at the audience, the judges, and take in the majesty of it all. The expectant faces, the formality of the occasion, the pains taken to practice, rehearse, to dress up (oh we looked FANTASTIC).. It strikes you then, how important this is for the GE, as well as how you perform later will mean so much to you later on, something you can look back on and say, hey.. i tried and i made it. The exact stuff which makes one as an adult want to say I want to be a student again.. It's very meaningful actually. Very, very meaningful. =)

Then you wait for your cue to be seated, and once you do so you hear the emcee introduces you to the audience. Our little introduction title brought about some commotion from the audience, hahaha, and i was rather pleased with it. It was the song title; i believe all the rest had reasonably shorter, more coherent titles. Ours was a breathtaking and as indigestable "Aria de la Bachianas Brasileiras No.5". Hahaha.. Coupled with the RJC name being read out alongside it it probably sounded like some bombastic classico piece. Next one was more normal though, "Taking The A Train". Superb, nevertheless =D

Thus, we played, and we won gold. Hahahaha..

Joined the audience after the performance, and we watched the other teams play before the judges rounded up the results and promulgated them. As they read out "Raffles Junior College, Gold." We all got up and cheered happily. Before i knew it i had gotten up and pumped my fist in the air, along with all the customary yays and woohoos and wowees, etc. Hahaha.. It was a magical moment lahz. It was then that i too realised, i actually cared more than i've cared to admit. For the enssemble, for its status, for its players. And i was proud to be part of it, cos i was proud of it. At that moment, it was like..watching your child take his first step. Or the wright brothers flying their first plane. Or archimedes running naked down the street.

Eureka.

The truth is that, in RJ guitar wasn't as well percieved as band, co, even RI's GE. Probably cos we weren't good enough(unlike in RI were every single musical group owned and all had some distinguished, exquisite aura about them despite not being a sports cca). It was an honour to be in Ri's GE, but in Rj it was kind of different, you know what i mean? And it was because, i rightfully believe, since results are all people want to see, especially from a musical group, of the reason that Rj GE had never, ever gotten a gold medal in SYF. So hopefully with this small step we can continue to progress and finally attain that aura of invincibility the band, co, Ri's GE has. Bahahaha.

And brady and kenneth, AHEM, i am NOT a ponner ok.. I simply skip tues pracs cos of cip and, of late, babysitting commitments. Hahahaha. So there. My secretary can attest to it. Right? =P

Ok, short post today, cos my com's down and my bro lives right next to his com.

Oh, i nearly forgot about Miss pang my secretary's birthday, which coincidentally fell on secretary's week too. It's magic i tell you.. In short, we all bought presents, balloons, ate at swensen's, and had a good time. You'd probably have read it off the other's blogs by now.

This was supposed to be here 22/04, 11.30pm but my grandpa com took a nap and (still) doesn't want to wake up yet.

Happy birthday! May you be happy always =)

Common tests were TERRIBLE. For yours truely. Kaput. Habis. Psssssh.

Anyway..

As part of post-exam celebrations the stuff i did included playing soccer, stoning at j8, watching a movie, catching vjc's O2 dance nite at the suntec city fountain of wealth, and wandering all over the place doing really nothing in particular.

It's been rather fun.. haha..

Spent the time listening to music today after i reached home.. Was supposed to go out again play badminton with the rest, but the courts were available only from 8 pm!! The courts are how rare on weekends.. We should like book for next sat's game le, since we can't play on weekdays now. Hahaha.. So i lazed around in my room playing Simple Plan, which i discovered was dam good. Really nice lyrics + good music = Fantastic output!!! Haha.. Okay, it's really not bad. So go check it out. Thanks brady for combusting the awesome cd for me. It's numero uno!

When you write copy you have the right to copyright the copy you write if the copy is right. If however, your copy falls over, you must right your copy.

If you write religious services you write rite, and have the right to copyright the rite you write. Very conservative people write right copy, and have the right to copyright the right copy they write. A right wing cleric would write right rite, and has the right to copyright the right rite he has the right to write. His editor has the job of making the right rite copy right before the copyright can be right.

Should a Mr Wright decide to write right rite, then Wright would write right rite, which Wright has the right to copyright. Duplicating that rite would mean you copy Wright's right rite, and violate copyright, which Wright would have the right to right.

Right? =D

Another long, long while since the last entry.. I've been on holiday. HAHAHA.

In response to the "Blog! I'm bored.." tags i feel compelled to do so and thus relief us all of that boredom and at the same time inject more life into this great, wonderful site. =)

Ook alright.. Some of the more significant events that have occured since. Last week in particular..

School as usual. Yadayadayadayadayadaaaahh. And of course with school there's SPA, of which we had 2 following the GP common test paper, making our last week of school a thoroughly enjoyable one. The GP paper, by the way, was not fun at all. We were required in the AQ to talk about USA and their policies towards the rest of the world and how as students in Asia we feel about them and the great news was, i knew s*** about this topic. So as i wrote on and my apparant lack of interaction with the Straits Times became painfully obvious i ended up quoting lots from the passages and trying to smoke my way through, not that i had much time to do so anyway. Which brings to mind a nice little phrase i picked up somewhere:

"It's not the cigarette which smokes, it's the sucker at the end."

Lovely, isn't it? =D

Had auditions for my SYF part on the following Saturday. Was rather apprehensive at first, cos i had just started learning the song one night last week when they had promulgated there was going to be an audition. But anyway, on sat i went to play. The audition goes like this: everyone's split up into small groups in which there are members which represent every section, so this small groups play one by one in front of the fellow who will point out your mistakes and decide whether you'll be getting the CCA points or not. There were 3 groups this week, so i had to play thrice cos they can't do without bass players to complete the group. So we played and the guy said some stuff for other people but totally ignored me and the j1 bassist too. So that means.. what to say? We're good man. Woohoo. Think i'm in. Hahahahaha..

OH, i'm planning to get a Zen Micro. Comes in 10 colours, with a 5 gig memory and 12-hour music playback. Lol.. It's a great temptation, especially after my MuVo2 conked out, making the music barely audible if you do not apply a constant pressure on the earphone jack. I'm beginning to suspect why starhub can give MuVo2s away as freebies.. Hahaha.. I've used it for just a year! Back to the Zen; the colours they come in make you go WAHHH I WANT lahz.. Especially when they are put all together against a black backdrop and each one not only stands out but also enhances the other's aesthetic appeal, like you see in the Creative ads or, in my case, plastered all over the bus i take home, allowing me to drool over them every other day. Aaahh..

I'M BACK!!!!!!
Missed me missed me? =D

Been awfully long since the last entry.. Haven't been updating cos 1) I didn't know what to write, 2) I came back late and didnt feel like it, and 3) of my mum's new policy that i sleep before 12 everyday. Lovely.

Anyway.. Here's like what happened in between.

CNY celebrations (school)
Important day! Cos we were going to play Jay Chou's QingTian in front of the entire school. Or rather, just the considerably large group who had stayed long enough to hear us play. Woke up with a huge feeling of anticipation. I like performing nice stuff i like.. Reminds me of the good old performances with RAGE (RAffles Guiter Enssemble). Full of nonsense and fun. Hahaha.. So anyway.. Went to school with the intention of strutting our stuff, but unfortunately i don't think we pulled it off very succussfully. Sucks sucks. >< Our performance was just like homeostasis - a lot of negative feedback. Aww man.. Today i still shudder to think about it. After that yang and brady and i played basketball. Brady and yang vs Me. Initially i was losing the battle, but after a while the tide was turned! Oh the passion, the motivation and the inspiration coursing through my veins lead me to a strolling win over them! Bahahaha. Ok actually this basketball girl pro joined me, and, muahahaha.. then the game started to get really fun. =P
After the game when everyone had left i went to j8 to meet my vj friend, whom i showed around the school and chatted lots with. It was very enjoyable (it took my mind off the queasy qingtian aftermath feeling, haha). See u again soon =)

CNY celebrations The Real Stuff
Angpows, goodies, gambling. Good food, good company. Aah..

Friday
Met yang and brady and kenneth and gz to get the girls their valentine's day gifts. Got them nice little handphone accessories personalised with their names, the 90¢ per letter-printed-on-bead/cube thing u see everywhere nowadays. Then we went to ps to buy kenneth's jar. Oh, when's a door not a door? You know.
Kenneth and brady and yang later come over to my house for angpows and beer. Hahaha.. At that time my cousin with her very cute progeny had come over too.. They are called Maxx and Scott and Zenn. Kidds nowadays.. Even name also so cool. I'm a dam proud uncle lohz. =D
Played basketball, gambled.. After that yang went home while brady and kenneth and i went to jurong point for dinner. Lovely day!

Monday
During GP we gave out the presents.. The lesson itself was a very enriching one, in which i learnt a lot of new words, and also that a boat could be inundated. Oh and kenneth's jar was replete with lovely stars; he planned to give it to his special later. How intrepid of him! All the best =) At the end of the day, we shall exult!

Tuesday
I awoke wishing that time could have gone back by a week.

Wed, Thurs
Watched constantine with kenneth and yang. Watched (I Do)² with yang.

Friday
Played bball in the morning cos there wasn't physics tutorial. School passed quickly after. Played a bit more bball, watched talentime, went to eat and buy flowers with kenneth, then caught the band concert. Absolute goodness. Life should be like this, this lovely.
Concert was good. Band is zai. Good job brady and zhong gong gong and charis! Hahaha u all rock.

Saturday
Today. Physics lecture test on Monday.
Gosh.. It's getting shorter and shorter.. Guess it's cos i'm growing sleepy. YAWNZ.
Oh. Jay Chou's Wu Yu Lun Bi (Incomparable) LIVE Concert CD is absolutely fantastic. Sheer class. Go and buy, you definitely won't regret it. Or ask me for it. =P There's a personalised feel and touch to every song.. you can hear and feel it in a different light altogether. Plus the little variations here and there, and the banter with the crowd, and the forgetting of lyrics and replacing it with his own words. Man.. And they're all how nice!!! Rocks rocks rocks! It's really 简单爱. ( right click, encoding, unicode )

Means, it's simply lovely.
Ok, that's not funny.

Nitez.

Today rocked.

School was good, as every Mon-Wed is. Even having to write an essay during GP wasn't so bad, cos kenneth and brady and yang and i decided to write about the same topic of whether the life of teens in singapore is better now or in the past, and we ended up rubbishing around for a good half-hour before really starting and sprinting thru the essay. Lol.. Also i discovered in my concluding paragraph that the opportunity had risen for me to insinuate my dissent towards the Pearls system (unfortunately there was insufficient time for PW), one which i relished rather happily.

Then we went to jam. Played Qing Tian. What can i say.. We rock. Lol ok mbbe we could be a tad tidier, and our recording device could be a little better. But heck, it's just been our 2nd session together.

It's just so chio. Guozheng's solo was out of this world. So was brady's bass and kenneth's drumming. And the singing. And not to mention, the intro and the bgm, the chords which are really so dam fantastic. Guess who played them. Lovely. =P

Also, thanks to the girls who were our wonderful audience.

Hahaha.. Qing Tian. What a great day.

"Start liaaoooooo!!!"

Conversation between me and my tutor today:

"You ah.. should better start to think about what to do in future"
"Those in chem, where are they headed too?"
"Hmm.. They can be teacher, researcher, scientist, chemical analysts..."
"Those in physics?"
"Teacher, reseacher, physicists... (plus a few i can't remember)"
"Maths?"
"Teacher... Mathematician..(more i can't remember.. all sound as boring) "
"Life sciences?"
"Teachers again (with a chuckle), researcher, scientists.. Ah reporters in medical journals too.
"Engineering?"
"Engineer lohz.. Chem engineering, civil engineers..
"I dont want either"
"Hahaha.."
"What about others? Arts?"
"In arts fac there's geog, history, lit, chi..."
"What can those history people do? Historians???"
"Yeah."
"Are there any real historians in singapore?"
"Your teachers.. They're historians."
"Thats all to history?"
"Ahm.. They get to work in the National Heritage Board. Which is not bad la.. haha."
"Then geog?"
"Er.. you can go and work at the weather station.."
"Ah. Haha. Got others?"
"Statistics, Accountancy.. Hmm accounting is not bad!"
"Statistics do what?"
"People will hire u do do some statistics for them."
"Why do all of them sound so awful?"
"Hahaha.. Well there's law!"
"Is that a lot of work?"
"Quite a bit la.. But less than medicine.. Much less."
"Oh. Medicine is like how?"
"Oh they get to memorize thick thick books.. You see the med fac library (or sth like that.. there're like a few libraries in NUS ).. it's always packed with people."
"Arts that library nobody la?"
"Yeah haha.. not so full".
"I like the arts library."
"Haha.. If u want, there's psychology, business, sociology.. (plus many others). Hmm.. ya thats about all that's offered in singapore."

Great. Neither of these appeal to me. I have totally no idea what i am working towards. Teachers, researchers, scientists, analysts, engineers are out. Cos i don't want to study for the rest of my life. Nor be involved in any of these when i have definitely not accumulated enough interest yet. Nor report to a rain guage every hour.

There're probably a million jobs out there but.. when u really narrow them down in relation to what u study.. your (or rather my) choices really shrink. What else can i think of? Entrepreneur? CEO of some gigantic company? Hahaha.. It's hard to have a vision about these now.. We just have to pick off where our studies bring us to and let life do the rest don't we. Yeah that's the conventional way. Will i do something different? I have no idea.. but somewhere in my heart i doubt it.

The available options left? Medicine. Law. These give me the quakes.. I'm not exactly your study person. Not to mention it's already pretty hard to get into these facs, u climb mountains after u get in. Mountains of books. The shitload of work they do.. It's depressing just to think about it. Sigh. That's what life is.. No fun!! ><

Hmm.. Actually Doctor Tan sounds like so dam cool.
So does "Have you met my cousin? He's a lawyer."
And "Let me introduce you to my friend. He's a doctor."

Wow.

K.. I'll be a doctor or a lawyer! Mmm this suits me, after all i've always loved to protect the weak and stand up for the helpless! And save lives as well! Excellent. I have a goal in life now! ^^

Or i could start up my own company and make my first million by 25. And i'll get secretary to work with me. As my secretary! Hahahaha..

Yeah. This's it. =P

Lol. Dreams..

Went jamming today!! After a long long day of school kenneth and i merrily set off to orchard to check out the jamming studio there. The studio was free virtually ALL the time, unlike the swee lee studio where it was so hard to secure a booking. Mrted to orchard to realise that we didn't know how to get there. Lol.. Walked out of orchard and back in just to find it in a little inconspicuous corner next to the Forum. Nice little unique old building, the Ming Arcade. So we went in and gosh the room was superb. Everything was well organised, no faulty plugs or wires, guitars hung on a rack, amps lined neatly against the wall.. Nice and cheery atmosphere. Oh and the guitar felt great. Hahaha.. I like this place so much more than swee lee.. Unfortunately it's $15 an hour compared to sl's 12.. ><

So anyway we played qingtian.. Used the time to get coordinated and get used to the speed of the song, which is surprisingly VERY slow. Kenneth is some drum pro lahz.. No drum set at home, haven't drummed for almost a year, yet he still whacked out all those nice fills and beats or whatever you call them. Lol it was great fun.

2 hours and $30 later we left for dinner at BK. Aah the wonderful Mushroom Swiss Double.. Mmm yum!

Just listened to SHE's Wo Ai Ni on 9.33.. it's super nice la! I can't help but say it.. Rocks rocks rocks!!! In fact this song is why i'm writing this now. =) The Encore album is sooo nice. There's only 1 song in it which i dont really listen to. The rest are really good!!! ^^

Also now i'm listening to Angela Zhang Shao Han's album called Aurora. This one, got 4 dam good songs. MamaMama, Aurora, and Fu2 Yun2 (Floating Cloud), and the other one i cant remember. Lol.. Her voice is super good!!! Strong, sweet.. Lol dunno lahz. But it appeals to me. That's all that matters ^^.

This week, in short.. Got a super nice card from the class. It says Engaged on the cover and the scribbles inside are so nice and even the envelope is so nice. Hahaha.. Everything is nice la! Thanks everyone =) Though i did nuts la.. =P Play play only. Lol..
Got a surprise gift from my taiwanese buddy and friends! There was a fun springy wooden doll, and letters. Even from people i didn't know really well.. Oops.. I'm so touched la. Won't forget them, ever!
Played badminton, basketball, soccer too. All are super fun!! Yeah! I'm improving a bit i think(hope). Hahaha..

There're really lots and lots of things i want to say.. but i don't know how to put it across. >< So.. i won't say. Hahaha!

And oh yes.. I appreciate everything, all you people around me. Lots.

Aww...Sooo cute!!! *heart melts* Miss Secretary, you know who i'm refering to! =P

S.H.E !!!

Mmmm.. School so far has been alright. Good in fact, cos i've started doing my homework and i no longer wander in and out of lectures and tutorials in a daze as i did for the whole of last year. =P Muz try to keep it up... But i can't deny homework isn't something i look forward to everyday when i reach home. Haha..

Ok, unpleasantries aside. This week has been fabulous. Why do i say so? Firstly, our Mon-Wed timetable's so short, they feel like a half-days and the weekend feels super long and nice. ^^ Furthermore there is P.E. on Tues and Wed, which means after that we get to walk over to RI to walk over some sec 1s or 2s in soccer. Fun fun fun!!!

The highlight of the week, however, was the S.H.E concert yang and i attended on Sat, 8 Jan. It's so super nice la.. Nothing to say. I'm a converted SHE fan overnight =P. Hahahaha.. Actually we never planned to watch the concert, esp. for me since i caught the Jay Chow concert last year which was, by the way, fantastic (and expensive). However yang called me on 25 Nov last year ( i remember!!! cos it was Metro CIP day and i was having lots of fun with alroy and his singing friend..) saying that cos his friends were not going anymore they could sell us their tickets and i thought well why not? So on Sat, we went to watch! ^^

The show was BRILLIANT!!! There were nice costume changes, good dance moves, 3 dolphins which SHE sat on which singing Hou4 Niao3, a fantasy world created on stage to suit the theme of Mei Li Xin Shi Jie.. AAAHHH... And the songs were like how nice la.. I don't exactly own every album.. but i've heard most on radio b4 and boy... are they nice!~! ENCORE!!! Hahahaha!

And Hebe Tien was so chio... Really looked great. She looked like Zhao Min from Yi Tian Tu Long Ji on that day.. wahh.. See already my heart can melt.. My idol~! Hahahaha... The songs they sung were how nice lohz.. Like this song you hear now (not played in the concert though). Just feel the beat, listen to the lyrics...It's just so sweet and charming.. Unforgettable!

Unlike the Jay Chou concert in which i had so brilliantly forgotten to bring along my camera, i took roughly 80 pics in this concert. Problem was, they're too far away!!! So couldn't get real sharp images.. And to make things worse i hadn't understood my cam well enough.. so some pics ended up more blurred then the rest. Sigh..

Oh because of the distance from my seat to the stage(i guess), there was always a half-sec delay from the time i pressed the button to the time the picture was taken. Hahaha.. This probably meant that almost all the pictures i took were rather random. HOWEVER, i managed to catch Hebe in a nice pose (without expecting to)!! Hahahaha i bet in the whole stadium only i got that picture. =P

The encore was so grand.. They left the indoor stadium in darkness, and you could feel the anticipation from the crowd. Then the drummer drummed 3 times BOOM BOOM BOOM, and was almost immediately joined by the audience chanting S.H.E.! in the same rythmn. Super stylo.. He repeated it a few times, until the lights came on and SHE appeared and the crowed erupted into cheers.. Haha.. a typical, super-nice encore!!!

Hahaha.. Ok.. Here i must dedicate a little section to secretary, who like the 3-year-old she is seems to be a litle rifled that i hadn't included her in this little outing.. Hahaha.. Sorry ah dear. When yang and i went, it was something like trying out for fun only.. Impromptu wan.. If we had planned it,... aiya, since when boss plan thing, never include secretary wan? Of cos sure call u! You and company along also. =P Hahaha..ok ok hebe yours, can? And that dinner also. Hahaha.. I send you the dolphins too also la k? Then can fix as swings in ur house-with-the-beautifully-sloping-roof.. Lol.. Staff welfare is No.1 okay..

Oh and i met my cousins there, in the concert! What a surprise! Actually i knew all along they were going.. i just forgot. Haha. And when it had ended they were scrambling to meet me cos they thought i had brought my girlfriend along cos they saw 2 girls seated next to me in the concert. lol.. u can imagine the look on their faces when i introduced them to yang. Hahaha.. Then they dropped us off at paya lebah mrt station, where we took the train to bugis and alighted looking for a snack just to realise we had stepped off the last train. Ahaha. Nevertheless we went for midnight kuey-chap. Then took the last bus to holland V before sharing a cab home.

Reached home 1.15am. Bahahaha..
Fun! I'm intoxicated. ~ ~ ~ ~

Guess i really should be sleeping now, considering i have to get up at 545 tml. oh. later.
School's started.. it's been good so far. first half of the week rocks =) We have a nice and large complex too, where everything's nice and new.

now just done some questions of 11C. not that hard.. but i'm not going to finish it tonight. yawnz. oh.. just made 22k in Neopets Stockmarket =)

wed. today. day ended real early.. 10.55. Lovely. Played bball, then went to Coronation plaza for lunch with yang and brady. Came back for guitar after that. Performance wasn't really fantastic.. We couldn't play the silly song properly despite having practiced twice a week over the holidays.. Gonna return from syf empty handed for sure. - - Looked at the score for the first time, and had to learn quite a bit on the spot cos there are only 3 people in my section and it would be dam obvious if i didn't play. Thanks go to tian and brady, who wrote out the notes for me in the morning. Thank you pros ^^ . And brady taught me some pentatonic scales used to play simple solo rifts. And i taught brady how to play Frog, which is a superb song. Hahaha.. I'll put it up here next week, mbbe.

tuesday went back to ri next door to play soccer with the sec 2s. brady biwei guozheng and i. very fun walking all over them ^^ kenneth pity u couldn't be there =P

super tired. hols... come back pleeease.
lol.

It's 2005 le.. didn't do much today. went out with family, ate katong laksa at bugis. walk walk.

a part of me is looking forward to tml (sch starts). it's going to be sparkling! ^^ but another doesnt want tml to come, ever!!

oh well.. btw.. thanks to yingjun (jeremy in the tagboard) for adding me =) we played baddie on friday. and he is like how pro la.. can fight wudao already. haha.. but then i had to chiong home for tuition.. not fun! otherwise can stay and play around longer. hahaha..

just helped tian design her blog. tried to add a nice pic she drew herself (did i mention secretary is an exceptional artist and chef as well?) but ended up squeezing it into a small corner of the blog, leaving a large section blank. the effect was rather hilarious.. hahaha.. sorry ah boss dont have PhD from MIT yet la. hahaha.. so we settled for templates found on the net. not bad la.. very nice!

got a new skin.. but i kinda like this song. so i just copied the link over. wanted to put jian dan ai. but the song simply wouldn't play. - - i'll just try again tml.

nitez.. see ya all in school! =)
