Common tests were TERRIBLE. For yours truely. Kaput. Habis. Psssssh.

Anyway..

As part of post-exam celebrations the stuff i did included playing soccer, stoning at j8, watching a movie, catching vjc's O2 dance nite at the suntec city fountain of wealth, and wandering all over the place doing really nothing in particular.

It's been rather fun.. haha..

Spent the time listening to music today after i reached home.. Was supposed to go out again play badminton with the rest, but the courts were available only from 8 pm!! The courts are how rare on weekends.. We should like book for next sat's game le, since we can't play on weekdays now. Hahaha.. So i lazed around in my room playing Simple Plan, which i discovered was dam good. Really nice lyrics + good music = Fantastic output!!! Haha.. Okay, it's really not bad. So go check it out. Thanks brady for combusting the awesome cd for me. It's numero uno!

When you write copy you have the right to copyright the copy you write if the copy is right. If however, your copy falls over, you must right your copy.

If you write religious services you write rite, and have the right to copyright the rite you write. Very conservative people write right copy, and have the right to copyright the right copy they write. A right wing cleric would write right rite, and has the right to copyright the right rite he has the right to write. His editor has the job of making the right rite copy right before the copyright can be right.

Should a Mr Wright decide to write right rite, then Wright would write right rite, which Wright has the right to copyright. Duplicating that rite would mean you copy Wright's right rite, and violate copyright, which Wright would have the right to right.

Right? =D

Another long, long while since the last entry.. I've been on holiday. HAHAHA.

In response to the "Blog! I'm bored.." tags i feel compelled to do so and thus relief us all of that boredom and at the same time inject more life into this great, wonderful site. =)

Ook alright.. Some of the more significant events that have occured since. Last week in particular..

School as usual. Yadayadayadayadayadaaaahh. And of course with school there's SPA, of which we had 2 following the GP common test paper, making our last week of school a thoroughly enjoyable one. The GP paper, by the way, was not fun at all. We were required in the AQ to talk about USA and their policies towards the rest of the world and how as students in Asia we feel about them and the great news was, i knew s*** about this topic. So as i wrote on and my apparant lack of interaction with the Straits Times became painfully obvious i ended up quoting lots from the passages and trying to smoke my way through, not that i had much time to do so anyway. Which brings to mind a nice little phrase i picked up somewhere:

"It's not the cigarette which smokes, it's the sucker at the end."

Lovely, isn't it? =D

Had auditions for my SYF part on the following Saturday. Was rather apprehensive at first, cos i had just started learning the song one night last week when they had promulgated there was going to be an audition. But anyway, on sat i went to play. The audition goes like this: everyone's split up into small groups in which there are members which represent every section, so this small groups play one by one in front of the fellow who will point out your mistakes and decide whether you'll be getting the CCA points or not. There were 3 groups this week, so i had to play thrice cos they can't do without bass players to complete the group. So we played and the guy said some stuff for other people but totally ignored me and the j1 bassist too. So that means.. what to say? We're good man. Woohoo. Think i'm in. Hahahahaha..

OH, i'm planning to get a Zen Micro. Comes in 10 colours, with a 5 gig memory and 12-hour music playback. Lol.. It's a great temptation, especially after my MuVo2 conked out, making the music barely audible if you do not apply a constant pressure on the earphone jack. I'm beginning to suspect why starhub can give MuVo2s away as freebies.. Hahaha.. I've used it for just a year! Back to the Zen; the colours they come in make you go WAHHH I WANT lahz.. Especially when they are put all together against a black backdrop and each one not only stands out but also enhances the other's aesthetic appeal, like you see in the Creative ads or, in my case, plastered all over the bus i take home, allowing me to drool over them every other day. Aaahh..

I'M BACK!!!!!!
Missed me missed me? =D

Been awfully long since the last entry.. Haven't been updating cos 1) I didn't know what to write, 2) I came back late and didnt feel like it, and 3) of my mum's new policy that i sleep before 12 everyday. Lovely.

Anyway.. Here's like what happened in between.

CNY celebrations (school)
Important day! Cos we were going to play Jay Chou's QingTian in front of the entire school. Or rather, just the considerably large group who had stayed long enough to hear us play. Woke up with a huge feeling of anticipation. I like performing nice stuff i like.. Reminds me of the good old performances with RAGE (RAffles Guiter Enssemble). Full of nonsense and fun. Hahaha.. So anyway.. Went to school with the intention of strutting our stuff, but unfortunately i don't think we pulled it off very succussfully. Sucks sucks. >< Our performance was just like homeostasis - a lot of negative feedback. Aww man.. Today i still shudder to think about it. After that yang and brady and i played basketball. Brady and yang vs Me. Initially i was losing the battle, but after a while the tide was turned! Oh the passion, the motivation and the inspiration coursing through my veins lead me to a strolling win over them! Bahahaha. Ok actually this basketball girl pro joined me, and, muahahaha.. then the game started to get really fun. =P
After the game when everyone had left i went to j8 to meet my vj friend, whom i showed around the school and chatted lots with. It was very enjoyable (it took my mind off the queasy qingtian aftermath feeling, haha). See u again soon =)

CNY celebrations The Real Stuff
Angpows, goodies, gambling. Good food, good company. Aah..

Friday
Met yang and brady and kenneth and gz to get the girls their valentine's day gifts. Got them nice little handphone accessories personalised with their names, the 90¢ per letter-printed-on-bead/cube thing u see everywhere nowadays. Then we went to ps to buy kenneth's jar. Oh, when's a door not a door? You know.
Kenneth and brady and yang later come over to my house for angpows and beer. Hahaha.. At that time my cousin with her very cute progeny had come over too.. They are called Maxx and Scott and Zenn. Kidds nowadays.. Even name also so cool. I'm a dam proud uncle lohz. =D
Played basketball, gambled.. After that yang went home while brady and kenneth and i went to jurong point for dinner. Lovely day!

Monday
During GP we gave out the presents.. The lesson itself was a very enriching one, in which i learnt a lot of new words, and also that a boat could be inundated. Oh and kenneth's jar was replete with lovely stars; he planned to give it to his special later. How intrepid of him! All the best =) At the end of the day, we shall exult!

Tuesday
I awoke wishing that time could have gone back by a week.

Wed, Thurs
Watched constantine with kenneth and yang. Watched (I Do)² with yang.

Friday
Played bball in the morning cos there wasn't physics tutorial. School passed quickly after. Played a bit more bball, watched talentime, went to eat and buy flowers with kenneth, then caught the band concert. Absolute goodness. Life should be like this, this lovely.
Concert was good. Band is zai. Good job brady and zhong gong gong and charis! Hahaha u all rock.

Saturday
Today. Physics lecture test on Monday.
Gosh.. It's getting shorter and shorter.. Guess it's cos i'm growing sleepy. YAWNZ.
Oh. Jay Chou's Wu Yu Lun Bi (Incomparable) LIVE Concert CD is absolutely fantastic. Sheer class. Go and buy, you definitely won't regret it. Or ask me for it. =P There's a personalised feel and touch to every song.. you can hear and feel it in a different light altogether. Plus the little variations here and there, and the banter with the crowd, and the forgetting of lyrics and replacing it with his own words. Man.. And they're all how nice!!! Rocks rocks rocks! It's really 简单爱. ( right click, encoding, unicode )

Means, it's simply lovely.
Ok, that's not funny.

Today rocked.

School was good, as every Mon-Wed is. Even having to write an essay during GP wasn't so bad, cos kenneth and brady and yang and i decided to write about the same topic of whether the life of teens in singapore is better now or in the past, and we ended up rubbishing around for a good half-hour before really starting and sprinting thru the essay. Lol.. Also i discovered in my concluding paragraph that the opportunity had risen for me to insinuate my dissent towards the Pearls system (unfortunately there was insufficient time for PW), one which i relished rather happily.

Then we went to jam. Played Qing Tian. What can i say.. We rock. Lol ok mbbe we could be a tad tidier, and our recording device could be a little better. But heck, it's just been our 2nd session together.

It's just so chio. Guozheng's solo was out of this world. So was brady's bass and kenneth's drumming. And the singing. And not to mention, the intro and the bgm, the chords which are really so dam fantastic. Guess who played them. Lovely. =P

Also, thanks to the girls who were our wonderful audience.

Hahaha.. Qing Tian. What a great day.

Conversation between me and my tutor today:

"You ah.. should better start to think about what to do in future"
"Those in chem, where are they headed too?"
"Hmm.. They can be teacher, researcher, scientist, chemical analysts..."
"Those in physics?"
"Teacher, reseacher, physicists... (plus a few i can't remember)"
"Maths?"
"Teacher... Mathematician..(more i can't remember.. all sound as boring) "
"Life sciences?"
"Teachers again (with a chuckle), researcher, scientists.. Ah reporters in medical journals too.
"Engineering?"
"Engineer lohz.. Chem engineering, civil engineers..
"I dont want either"
"Hahaha.."
"What about others? Arts?"
"In arts fac there's geog, history, lit, chi..."
"What can those history people do? Historians???"
"Yeah."
"Are there any real historians in singapore?"
"Your teachers.. They're historians."
"Thats all to history?"
"Ahm.. They get to work in the National Heritage Board. Which is not bad la.. haha."
"Then geog?"
"Er.. you can go and work at the weather station.."
"Ah. Haha. Got others?"
"Statistics, Accountancy.. Hmm accounting is not bad!"
"Statistics do what?"
"People will hire u do do some statistics for them."
"Why do all of them sound so awful?"
"Hahaha.. Well there's law!"
"Is that a lot of work?"
"Quite a bit la.. But less than medicine.. Much less."
"Oh. Medicine is like how?"
"Oh they get to memorize thick thick books.. You see the med fac library (or sth like that.. there're like a few libraries in NUS ).. it's always packed with people."
"Arts that library nobody la?"
"Yeah haha.. not so full".
"I like the arts library."
"Haha.. If u want, there's psychology, business, sociology.. (plus many others). Hmm.. ya thats about all that's offered in singapore."

Great. Neither of these appeal to me. I have totally no idea what i am working towards. Teachers, researchers, scientists, analysts, engineers are out. Cos i don't want to study for the rest of my life. Nor be involved in any of these when i have definitely not accumulated enough interest yet. Nor report to a rain guage every hour.

There're probably a million jobs out there but.. when u really narrow them down in relation to what u study.. your (or rather my) choices really shrink. What else can i think of? Entrepreneur? CEO of some gigantic company? Hahaha.. It's hard to have a vision about these now.. We just have to pick off where our studies bring us to and let life do the rest don't we. Yeah that's the conventional way. Will i do something different? I have no idea.. but somewhere in my heart i doubt it.

The available options left? Medicine. Law. These give me the quakes.. I'm not exactly your study person. Not to mention it's already pretty hard to get into these facs, u climb mountains after u get in. Mountains of books. The shitload of work they do.. It's depressing just to think about it. Sigh. That's what life is.. No fun!! ><

Hmm.. Actually Doctor Tan sounds like so dam cool.
So does "Have you met my cousin? He's a lawyer."
And "Let me introduce you to my friend. He's a doctor."

Wow.

K.. I'll be a doctor or a lawyer! Mmm this suits me, after all i've always loved to protect the weak and stand up for the helpless! And save lives as well! Excellent. I have a goal in life now! ^^

Or i could start up my own company and make my first million by 25. And i'll get secretary to work with me. As my secretary! Hahahaha..

Yeah. This's it. =P

Lol. Dreams..

Went jamming today!! After a long long day of school kenneth and i merrily set off to orchard to check out the jamming studio there. The studio was free virtually ALL the time, unlike the swee lee studio where it was so hard to secure a booking. Mrted to orchard to realise that we didn't know how to get there. Lol.. Walked out of orchard and back in just to find it in a little inconspicuous corner next to the Forum. Nice little unique old building, the Ming Arcade. So we went in and gosh the room was superb. Everything was well organised, no faulty plugs or wires, guitars hung on a rack, amps lined neatly against the wall.. Nice and cheery atmosphere. Oh and the guitar felt great. Hahaha.. I like this place so much more than swee lee.. Unfortunately it's $15 an hour compared to sl's 12.. ><

So anyway we played qingtian.. Used the time to get coordinated and get used to the speed of the song, which is surprisingly VERY slow. Kenneth is some drum pro lahz.. No drum set at home, haven't drummed for almost a year, yet he still whacked out all those nice fills and beats or whatever you call them. Lol it was great fun.

2 hours and $30 later we left for dinner at BK. Aah the wonderful Mushroom Swiss Double.. Mmm yum!

Friday, January 14, 2005

Just listened to SHE's Wo Ai Ni on 9.33.. it's super nice la! I can't help but say it.. Rocks rocks rocks!!! In fact this song is why i'm writing this now. =) The Encore album is sooo nice. There's only 1 song in it which i dont really listen to. The rest are really good!!! ^^

Also now i'm listening to Angela Zhang Shao Han's album called Aurora. This one, got 4 dam good songs. MamaMama, Aurora, and Fu2 Yun2 (Floating Cloud), and the other one i cant remember. Lol.. Her voice is super good!!! Strong, sweet.. Lol dunno lahz. But it appeals to me. That's all that matters ^^.

This week, in short.. Got a super nice card from the class. It says Engaged on the cover and the scribbles inside are so nice and even the envelope is so nice. Hahaha.. Everything is nice la! Thanks everyone =) Though i did nuts la.. =P Play play only. Lol..
Got a surprise gift from my taiwanese buddy and friends! There was a fun springy wooden doll, and letters. Even from people i didn't know really well.. Oops.. I'm so touched la. Won't forget them, ever!
Played badminton, basketball, soccer too. All are super fun!! Yeah! I'm improving a bit i think(hope). Hahaha..

There're really lots and lots of things i want to say.. but i don't know how to put it across. >< So.. i won't say. Hahaha!

And oh yes.. I appreciate everything, all you people around me. Lots.

Aww...Sooo cute!!! *heart melts* Miss Secretary, you know who i'm refering to! =P

S.H.E !!!

Mmmm.. School so far has been alright. Good in fact, cos i've started doing my homework and i no longer wander in and out of lectures and tutorials in a daze as i did for the whole of last year. =P Muz try to keep it up... But i can't deny homework isn't something i look forward to everyday when i reach home. Haha..

Ok, unpleasantries aside. This week has been fabulous. Why do i say so? Firstly, our Mon-Wed timetable's so short, they feel like a half-days and the weekend feels super long and nice. ^^ Furthermore there is P.E. on Tues and Wed, which means after that we get to walk over to RI to walk over some sec 1s or 2s in soccer. Fun fun fun!!!

The highlight of the week, however, was the S.H.E concert yang and i attended on Sat, 8 Jan. It's so super nice la.. Nothing to say. I'm a converted SHE fan overnight =P. Hahahaha.. Actually we never planned to watch the concert, esp. for me since i caught the Jay Chow concert last year which was, by the way, fantastic (and expensive). However yang called me on 25 Nov last year ( i remember!!! cos it was Metro CIP day and i was having lots of fun with alroy and his singing friend..) saying that cos his friends were not going anymore they could sell us their tickets and i thought well why not? So on Sat, we went to watch! ^^

The show was BRILLIANT!!! There were nice costume changes, good dance moves, 3 dolphins which SHE sat on which singing Hou4 Niao3, a fantasy world created on stage to suit the theme of Mei Li Xin Shi Jie.. AAAHHH... And the songs were like how nice la.. I don't exactly own every album.. but i've heard most on radio b4 and boy... are they nice!~! ENCORE!!! Hahahaha!

And Hebe Tien was so chio... Really looked great. She looked like Zhao Min from Yi Tian Tu Long Ji on that day.. wahh.. See already my heart can melt.. My idol~! Hahahaha... The songs they sung were how nice lohz.. Like this song you hear now (not played in the concert though). Just feel the beat, listen to the lyrics...It's just so sweet and charming.. Unforgettable!

Unlike the Jay Chou concert in which i had so brilliantly forgotten to bring along my camera, i took roughly 80 pics in this concert. Problem was, they're too far away!!! So couldn't get real sharp images.. And to make things worse i hadn't understood my cam well enough.. so some pics ended up more blurred then the rest. Sigh..

Oh because of the distance from my seat to the stage(i guess), there was always a half-sec delay from the time i pressed the button to the time the picture was taken. Hahaha.. This probably meant that almost all the pictures i took were rather random. HOWEVER, i managed to catch Hebe in a nice pose (without expecting to)!! Hahahaha i bet in the whole stadium only i got that picture. =P

The encore was so grand.. They left the indoor stadium in darkness, and you could feel the anticipation from the crowd. Then the drummer drummed 3 times BOOM BOOM BOOM, and was almost immediately joined by the audience chanting S.H.E.! in the same rythmn. Super stylo.. He repeated it a few times, until the lights came on and SHE appeared and the crowed erupted into cheers.. Haha.. a typical, super-nice encore!!!

Hahaha.. Ok.. Here i must dedicate a little section to secretary, who like the 3-year-old she is seems to be a litle rifled that i hadn't included her in this little outing.. Hahaha.. Sorry ah dear. When yang and i went, it was something like trying out for fun only.. Impromptu wan.. If we had planned it,... aiya, since when boss plan thing, never include secretary wan? Of cos sure call u! You and company along also. =P Hahaha..ok ok hebe yours, can? And that dinner also. Hahaha.. I send you the dolphins too also la k? Then can fix as swings in ur house-with-the-beautifully-sloping-roof.. Lol.. Staff welfare is No.1 okay..

Oh and i met my cousins there, in the concert! What a surprise! Actually i knew all along they were going.. i just forgot. Haha. And when it had ended they were scrambling to meet me cos they thought i had brought my girlfriend along cos they saw 2 girls seated next to me in the concert. lol.. u can imagine the look on their faces when i introduced them to yang. Hahaha.. Then they dropped us off at paya lebah mrt station, where we took the train to bugis and alighted looking for a snack just to realise we had stepped off the last train. Ahaha. Nevertheless we went for midnight kuey-chap. Then took the last bus to holland V before sharing a cab home.

Reached home 1.15am. Bahahaha..
Fun! I'm intoxicated. ~ ~ ~ ~

Guess i really should be sleeping now, considering i have to get up at 545 tml. oh. later.
School's started.. it's been good so far. first half of the week rocks =) We have a nice and large complex too, where everything's nice and new.

now just done some questions of 11C. not that hard.. but i'm not going to finish it tonight. yawnz. oh.. just made 22k in Neopets Stockmarket =)

wed. today. day ended real early.. 10.55. Lovely. Played bball, then went to Coronation plaza for lunch with yang and brady. Came back for guitar after that. Performance wasn't really fantastic.. We couldn't play the silly song properly despite having practiced twice a week over the holidays.. Gonna return from syf empty handed for sure. - - Looked at the score for the first time, and had to learn quite a bit on the spot cos there are only 3 people in my section and it would be dam obvious if i didn't play. Thanks go to tian and brady, who wrote out the notes for me in the morning. Thank you pros ^^ . And brady taught me some pentatonic scales used to play simple solo rifts. And i taught brady how to play Frog, which is a superb song. Hahaha.. I'll put it up here next week, mbbe.

tuesday went back to ri next door to play soccer with the sec 2s. brady biwei guozheng and i. very fun walking all over them ^^ kenneth pity u couldn't be there =P

super tired. hols... come back pleeease.
lol.

Exhausted - He who runs after the bus.

It's 2005 le.. didn't do much today. went out with family, ate katong laksa at bugis. walk walk.
i dont know what to write.. Happy New Year?
a part of me is looking forward to tml (sch starts). it's going to be sparkling! ^^ but another doesnt want tml to come, ever!!

oh well.. btw.. thanks to yingjun (jeremy in the tagboard) for adding me =) we played baddie on friday. and he is like how pro la.. can fight wudao already. haha.. but then i had to chiong home for tuition.. not fun! otherwise can stay and play around longer. hahaha..

just helped tian design her blog. tried to add a nice pic she drew herself (did i mention secretary is an exceptional artist and chef as well?) but ended up squeezing it into a small corner of the blog, leaving a large section blank. the effect was rather hilarious.. hahaha.. sorry ah boss dont have PhD from MIT yet la. hahaha.. so we settled for templates found on the net. not bad la.. very nice!

got a new skin.. but i kinda like this song. so i just copied the link over. wanted to put jian dan ai. but the song simply wouldn't play. - - i'll just try again tml.

nitez.. see ya all in school! =)

No.8

hellooo bois and gals.. haven't blogged for a looong time le.. since christmas! and here i am in the wee hours in the morning of the LAST DAY of 2004. wow. so dam fast. i really cant believe 2 months just passed away like dat. i haven't had my fill of fun yet, and its time to be serious. going to have to start studying!!! no fun.. haven't done so for the past 5 years le.. it is sooo going to be hard to start again lohz.. ><

oh well.. wed 29 dec. yesterday. went to sch for moving ceremony. first time i woke up so early in months. dragged myself to school (mt sinai) and bumped into darren chan (who just came back from taiwan) in assembly while looking for my class which had disappeared and he gave me a pendant and a little silver egg with saggitarius crafted on it. super nice! ^^ thanks a lot man.. guitar was great without you =P (cos i didnt go too). hahahaha ><

then we took the train, non-stop to bishan. funest mrt ride i'd taken. talked kok with kenneth, and there was this joker on the intercom acting deejay. then we walked to new campus from j8, and along the way there were little ri boys who stood along the road to welcome us. hahaha.. the idea is just so... adorable. haha.. couldnt help smiling when i saw them. it's like it's the national day parade and i'm standing on a jeep driving round the track. mm.. =P

then we assembled, then they gave speeches, blah blah blah. oh and it was then my secretary (of state) brought to my attention to BOND GIRL. its actually dearest ms kat ng, but she came with a smashing new look - rebonded hair. her hair is originally a bit curly so now that she rebonded it its.. still nice anyway!

after that we went to our home room which was on the fifth floor and had a fantastic view (must go check it out!) michelle chan gave out our shoe bags and timetables - mondays end at 1155 and tuesdays 1.55 and weds 1055 excluding cca. sweet. ^^ thurs and fri finishes at 3.55, which isnt that sweet but nevertheless quite good.

then kenneth gave us a short tour of the sch, during which brady came to join us after the band performance and i made him run from block A to the assembly ground. Which was.. quite a lot considering the gargantuan complex we occupy now. oops. haha.. sorry man.. so when the tour was over ailin minling shenyue tian zhongye brady and i decided to go j8 and eat. but somehow we got into an LT (dunno which one) and played aound with the piano. secretary played qing tian, brady played his composition (piano pros...) kenneth played a song called clocks which sounded cool and pro until secretary said "grade 3 ah?" which had all of us in fits. Diplomacy, my dear Secretary. hahahahaha.

we all went for lunch at swensens, but secretary couldnt go cos she had to go pick up calls for red cross. we all ordered baked rice.. hahaha.. my fav CBR. yum yum.. and topless 5. Mmmm.. then brady and i went to bras brasah to get his new racket, played deliverymen for secretary, and after that we went to play baddie with yang at clementi. so fun! see... doing lots of fun things with lots of people. thats what life should be like. ^^

had mutton soup with yang and brady, then went down to J East entertainment centre for Phantom of the Opera which was, to say the least, SUPER NICE!!!!! the singing, the music... ahh.. heavenly! i wan go UK and see the real stuff again!

fruitful, meaningful, colourful day! ^^

Christmas!

friday, 24th dec Met up with kenneth brady and yang (again) for badminton. supposed to meet at 12.. but as usual i reached like at 1230. played bball and bad, as always. haha. the first reunion of the baddie fraternity since like nov? haha ^^ We saw a pro at work! he played by himself at first.. then he came to play with yang and ken and brady. i was watching him from behind, and trying to memorize his moves. wakakaka. he could make the shuttle fly so dam far without moving his arm much. weeee. so zai.. minimise energy input, maximise work done. must copy his hand movement, and try on them next time. hahahaha.

played till 4.45. then went to orchard to catch the Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers movie marathon. we bought tickets first at cine. wanted to go cafe cartel eat LAGSANA at first.. but too many pple le. cannot.. aww!!! the movies were dam funny, dam good shows. must go watch! laugh and laugh and laugh. =D at the end of it i was like reeling. cannot tahan.. was super hungry lohz, cos i (and brady) had eaten nothing the entire day, except for a bit of macs just b4 the show. i was just waiting for the promised feast at chomp chomp near kenneth's house. =P cos we were going to STAY OVER!!!

when we left the cinema it was 1130.. we walked out to somerset mrt from cineleisure, and saw hordes of people just hanging around outside, waiting to countdown for christmas, and spraying foam and streamers everywhere, on everyone. it looked super fun la, i wanted to wait till 12 to see the action.. but i was carrying a guitar, racket and bball with me and everyone was so tired already.. so we just left. we took the mrt to bishan, where kenneth's dad drove us to his house (nice, big house with a SKYGARDEN) to put down our stuff, then to CHOMPCHOMP!!!

so much good food, so many choices. what to do? try all! haha.. we had hokkien fried mee, bbq stingray, oyster egg, chicky wings, and soup(like xiao2 wan3 mian4 without the mian4). ah.. shiok only ^^ oh not to mention also sugercane juice in a glass larger than a giant slurpee cup. hahaha.. midnight makan.. fun!!!

reached kenneths house again at around 2.. we showered, then played cards, guitar and monopoly till 6. in kenneths room on the third floor where his mum had spread out mattresses on the floor for all of us. when we had enough, kenneth took a nap, while brady tried to take a nap. yang and i kept disturbing him so he couldnt sleep. we asked him to watch sunrise with us. hahahaha.. it was super funny!!! then brady got up and tried to sit on me and we ended up wrestling and tumbling around. hahaha..

in the end we all dozed off at some time. woke up 10 plus? on 25th Dec. Christmas. Went out to serangoon gardens to eat. it was a super long walk, like 15-20 min. kenneth said, go there eat won't get fat wan. everything will be burnt away during the walk. =D

went back, and looked at the sky garden. oh kenneth's house is how nice la.. so windy somemore. and the rooftop garden is so chio! next time can have class bbq up there ^^ if no space can just nudge anandB off to make space. no worries. =)

then we went home. thanks ah kenneth, for the day(s).
and thanks ah everyone, for being around. ^^

today being christmas(actually not, 2.30 am le..), no lame jokes. hahahaha.

met brady and yang and kenneth today for kung fu hustle! nice nice ^^

had tuition first.. he came at 1, then tuition tuition tuition until 4 (the show started at 430!!). i was dying to go, but couldnt bear to stop halfway, cos we usually finish a topic every lesson. but then i also didnt want to be late to meet them all. what a dilemma. after i had practically shooed him out and changed it was 4.10. took a cab but to avoid the jam in orchard mr driver suggested i stop behind lido at shaw towers and run all the way to lido. and just a few min ago yang had called me. if orchard jam, he said, you drop off and run. hahaha.. so qiao3.

so i met yang and kenneth and brady outside the cinema and we went in. didnt miss much, just a bit of the dance sequence at the beginning part. the show was not bad.. everything you'd expect out of a stephen chow movie, with all the slapstick humour and action. the movie koped ideas from lots of places and slotted them into appropriate places.. like spiderman, lord of the rings, matrix.. haha quite creative. and the bad guys from the axe band... all punching bags only. hahaha. the good guys had skills which apparently were from real chinese novels.. like tiger's roar or sth like that. then yang was listing out the real owners of the skills as each skill came out. haha.. dam pro!

after that we went for makan!! went to the foodcourt in ps. the lack of a money printing machine among us made cafe cartel rather distant. haha.. but i'd go there anytime man. the lagsana (yes lagsana) is like how nice la.. the cheese (ooh the cheese!!), the sauce, the beef,... imagine a large spoonful of that stuff inching towards your mouth.. MMMmm. yum yum yum!

i am sooo hungry!

then yang gave out christmas presents and cards. after food. then this lady who wanted the table from us looked at us wide-eyed and said "wahh so good ah.. i also want to be your friend!" haha..

however, the highlight of the day was yet to come. at the bustop i met shawn and junyang (class outing) and guess what: glenn lee. the, uh, irrepressibly enthusiastic fellow!!! and the very first thing the nice guy told me was "you know AnandB right.. he is a b****** leh!" >< then he said "i did metro cip with him. 5 long hours!" or sth similar. sigh. this time, i'm more inclined to say something along the lines like poor anandb.. hey man.. what did anandb our fav. faction hero do to you? steal your boyfriend ah.. Mr.B wouldnt harm a fly! right everyone? ^^

and then my bus came. lovely. the interval is like how long...

I rented a boat with my friend, and went fishing on a lake. Catch wasn't good, till we reached a particular spot. Happily we caught our fill, and returned to the dock.
"Did you mark the spot we got all these fish?" i asked.
"Of cos!" he said. "I put a big white X on the side of the boat where we caught them"
...
He's such an idiot la.. what makes him think we can get the same boat tml???

today was a good day! fun fun fun.

was supposed to meet brady and yang and kenneth on 12 but when the phone rang and woke me up i looked at the clock and it read 11.45 and once again i had to msg yang to say sorry i'll be late. haha. i always seem to be late when i am meeting him. sorry ah bro. bu4 shi4 gu4 yi4 de4.. XD but today it wasnt so bad cos brady would ALSO be late (later than me ) so he can be a dang3 jian4 pai2 and make me look a bit better this time. HAHAHHAAHA. so i took a cab down cos aiya.. not nice, yang keeps waiting for me. we played basketball in that nice indoor court, then brady came and man he had his hair gelled and looked like some triad boss from china (he just returned). then we played badminton and basketball, and brady begun throwing balls like how accurately la. he must have gone to yaoming's house and eaten yao's secret horde of food stashed away under the boards beneath the bed. then in badminton it was me and yang vs brady (kenneth had Oteam) and then brady hit shuttles like how well also. it was then i deduced he too had visited gong ruina's house in china and eaten the food there or had some secret training as well. Impress me further baby, and i'm on the next plane to china..

yeah but anyway.. we played and played and played. spent like 4 hrs there. also got chased off ard 4 times cos we neither booked nor paid for the court. there was also this fellow who asked if he could join us in bball. of cos we said yes (so nice of us) so firstly it was abc (which he won) and later, as he proposed, yang brady and i vs him. what audacity. what foolishness. 3 vs 1 basketball? dont make me laugh.

he won that too.

but of cos, things do not happen against logic without reason. reasons abound as to why he won. 1. His adequacy. he's probably some seasoned pro with some team la. us? guitar band and CO. hardly what you would call a basketball team. 2. Our inadequacy. in addition to the reason mention above our experience in basketball matches = ZERO. brady and i were not opponents. we were obstacles. yang was impressive though ^^ 3. we were tired already when he came, while he was still as fresh as a fresh fish. so there.

so after that we went for rojak. yum.. then we stoned a while, and decided to go to bugis for katong laksa (yum yum) and cheap cds (yum yum yum!!!) i didnt buy any though cos i've already sent my wishlist to a friend in taiwan. but yang bought an Aurora cd. oh have i mentioned, katong laksa is FANTASTIC. Mmmm.

then we went to look at coms in sim lim square. i wanted to up mine, but mummy and daddy weren't very enthu about it, so i was so half-hearted.. it's like, no point getting a spanking new com but pissing either parent off. we talked a lot on how to bring my com into the family picture safely.. came out with lots of lame and funny stuff, thanks to brady. "Ma, i got this for free". or sneak it in on 24th, assemble at night, and "Ma, santa claus". you get the idea.

bahh.. Chronicles of Computer didnt have a happy ending. dont want to talk about it le.

*this's actually an entry for 20th, Monday. it's just that when i write it's past 12 le..*

today ah, is 20 Dec le.. too fast.. i don't like. but tml's my bdae! ^^ must enjoy man!!! though i still have no idea wad i'm going to do. for the first time in my life, i realised i donwant my birthday to come so quickly. this just means the hols are ending. you know why they say time flies? cos time really flies. weeee.
yuck. eew. suck suck sucks.

so lets move on to nicer funner topics. mmm. today, i'll intro you all to my company. haha yeah my COMPANY ^^ In the frenzy corporate world of ours today, there is this very very special company which dares to make a difference. The association which walks off the beaten track. The organisation which opens new doors and keeps them open. What unique, enthralling establishment are we talking about here? Which coterie of elites would we be refering too? The ans. is... yeah, my company!

The Company
Seductively located among the beaches of the Maldives, The Establishment is elusive to the masses, a priviledge entitled only to the fun and the nice, and no one else. With extensive knowledge and experience of statistical analysis techniques (games, sports, and of cos, some tv), The Establishment has over 25 years of experience reporting at international board level. Principal activities are the provision of project design, management and services; in fact, everything and anything fun. =D

haha.. lol. dont want talk like that le.. very sian. yawnz. but then, its the people who make a company. so now must talk about a few pple. a few dam important people. pivotal. first up is da boss. really the nicest person you can find around. he is like so thoughtful, caring, sharing, and nice.. you wont believe until you meet him. after you meet him, die.. so charming, you just cannot forget him. 10 stars!! super important wan okay. no boss, no company.. but see la, cos the boss so good, the company also become so dam zai. awesome.

next is the secretary. this one ah.. got a lot of things to say. secretary is multipurpose wan, everything also can do. like those swiss army knife. looks so small and nice, but wahh once u open it up, you can open everything else up. in the Establishment secretary is indispensible. among the many roles she plays she is also our acting psychologist and PR manager. what did i say about multipurpose.. everything, secretary also can handle. got problem ah, just go to secretary. call her at 3 am ask her tapow food eat supper also can. call her at 4 am cos you're feeling bored and need a friend to talk to also can.

lol. i'm kidding. dont try it.

the boss, undoubtedly, has an eye for talent. naturally, he also appreciates and takes good care of all his staff. thats why secretary is among one of the higheset paid working executives in the world. also ah, among her possessions provided by the Establishment (sshhh, cos the boss is supposed to be impartial. thats how trust is built up and rapport and mutual understanding is shared in a large family like ours) is a pink Ferrari (with that cool blue circle of light emitting from the base like u see in 2 Fast 2 Furious), and a shocking pink grand piano (like the one jay chou used in his concert) and also, a 3-storey semi-d with a sloping granite-and-glass-mosaic roof.
wow. even boss also dont have. see la, staff welfare is so well taken care of. its no wonder morale is so high in camp and the Establishment continues to be the leading company with astonishing turnovers and .....

to be continued...

cos man, look at the time. i'm meeting yang and brady and kenny for bad tml..yay.. another chance to use my new racket. watch out guys. Hahahhaha. if i dont sleep now i'm going to have to drag myself around the whole day. so nitez!! ^^

secretary ah.. here's the report u wanted. havent finished yet ah, still got homework consultant and other executives to include. hope it's to your satisfaction. =D

Today ah, was a damn tiring day. went to ghim moh for guitar, and when i reached there, i realised they all left for bishan campus le. so malu.. stone there like some lost sheep left behind. my fault la actually cos i didnt bother to check but haiz if guitar were more fun then this wouldnt be sooo bad. so i wandered around looking at the sch for the last time and i realised i really like this place cos 1) sch was at its most fun at this place like orientation, 1st 3 months and stuff it was damn fun and i really appreciate it and 2) Bishan is like sooo FAR for me next year lahz i got to take bus like 1.5 hrs EVERYDAY and like yandao said can sit until your butt turn big. but of cos i still look forward to sch next year nice big place it reminds me of ri and i'm looking forward to scribbling my name on every chair next year to create my legacy and pass down my grand name for posterity MUAHAHA.

but anyway i met a friend and we played basketball till i was practically lying on the floor. i didnt go bishan cos i'd be late by the time i reached there and i'd spend 2 hrs travelling for 2 hrs practice and nah it's not worth it cos i have a golden rule - for unfun affairs spend at least twice the amount of time u take to travel otherwise dont go and so there! (i hope no one in RJGE reads this)

talked to auntie and she gave me an orange ^_^ we talked quite a bit and she told me lots about herself and did you know her first son owns a sushi restaurant, her second son is a teacher in JSS and her daughter is married to the son of the principal of HCJC? wow. i asked her why are you still working then and she said everyone's working so she must lead the charge!!! was damn impressed by her attitude.. at her age and still so on. boys and girls, this is a shining example we must follow and lead our lives by ok.

then as we walked out of school this admin guy who had to be more bored than us came up to us and said "what are you doing here? (you have a problem with that?) everyone's in new campus(so?). be the first to experience it! the court there's so much nicer. (yeah). you all ah, so unfriendly!" (stunned silence) ... Thanks so much Mr Friendly.

then went to eat and met yang for badminton and basketball. tried out my new racket =) it was great but i'm not really accustomed to it yet cos its much lighter and the strings are finer than my old wan. even then it is damn zai just whack a bit, no need a lot of strength and wheee you see the shuttlecork fly and fly and fly. later on 2 pple challenged us so we played doubles. like competition liddat, dam exciting one of them was a pro i think cos his hair, specs and shirt all screamed I PLAY BADDIE AND DONT MESS WITH ME COS I CAN KICK UR BUTT LIKE HOW EASILY. haha. ok mbbe i am exagerating a teeny bit but anyway he didnt turn out to be that good missed here and there. his netplay was good though. we lost the first game; yang and i nvr played same team b4, usually it's brady and me, yang and kenneth. 2nd game we did good cos we were obviously much better, but yang whispered to me "let them win" i was like HUH but i okayed and they won again.. dunno why yang so nice. but nvm. win win lohz.. we know we're better bahahahaha.

then we played basketball(again) and played 1v1 me against yang and he really kicked my @$$ cos basketball is in his blood. hahahaha then went for KFC then went home.

aiyoz write so much again. see pple's blog, like very short wan. hahaha. hmph. mine got substance.

Bahahahahaahhahha.

Hi first post!!!

I have absolutely nothing to do and after fiddling around with this pentium one of mine i find myself drawn to a blog. Mmm then i decided to try it out cos i want to try out something new and interesting and also cos of Kenny's blog, which is amazing. Ailin and Yandao's blogs are like damn nice too so ta-dah! Here's my masterpiece ^^

Played badminton with Yang today, and basketball. At clementi sports hall, where there was an INDOOR basketball court okay.. It felt really dfferent from playing in a sun baked weather beaten outdoor court. Yang taught me a game called BULLET where we stand at the 2 point line and take turns shooting. Every successive shot = 1 bullet. The bullets stack until someone misses, then ah ha he gets them all and loses the same amout of life.. Each of us had 7 lives and we played 3 games of which i won only 1. Haha. Interesting!

Then we went for lunch and only i ate cos i was hungry and yang wasnt. I tried a new Malay Laksa which was nice and spicy. After that we took 7 to Bras Brasah complex to choose my brand new badminton racket ^^ cos my old one was spoilt. The shaft could be rotated and i had to retune it after every hit like a guitar and it was really hard to play with it.

The usual guy at the shop wasnt there it was a new fellow so yang and i kinda hesitated cos it is in this type of situation where the shop keeper can fleece you of your precious pennies. Nevertheless we went in since we were already there. I took a while (1 hour, the 'keeper claimed) to choose my racket, all of them looked sooo good. It was $84 for a racket, string, grip and a bag of rather mediocre quality. Not a bad deal, but yang and i were pretty pissed with that overbearing oppressive shopkeeper. During the time we spent inside yang kept telling me to "take your time to choose no need hurry" and him to "let him decide what he wants!"

I choose a stylish black instead of the red. OK, mbbe stylish means just slightly more common in this case.. I did really consider the red, but my feeling said BLACK and i do trust my high ESP count (its true boys and girls). It just felt better. Oh but to make up for it i got a nice yellow grip ^^ Nice nice now it looks sooo chio!!

While waiting we walked over to HMV in CityLink too look through CDs and to pick up new titles for Brady who is in china to buy back for us cos apparently cds cost less over there. Wahahaha times are bad ok.. Must kai1 yuan2 jie2 liu2 mah..

Then we went to orchard to look for a $6.50 sushi buffet i ate b4 but it was gone so we went to food street just next to specialist shopping centre and had Hokkien Prawn Mee and bbq chicky wings. At the end of the day we still got fleeced cos if u know these places the price is like so high and the amount of chow isn't very significant. And after that we got 2 for $2 Giant slurpees. Mmmm.

Just reading back and i realise WOW i have written quite a bit already. Either this activity is too alluring or i have to much time to burn. Think i'll just stay up and watch the Man U-Fulham match since i have ferdinand in my fantasy team so there's something to cheer for later.

Hey isn't blogging just like writing a diary? Cool! Havent done so for ages. Quite fun.

Bahahahaahaa.
